THEY WERE LONGING FOR A BABY, BUT WHEN THE WOMAN GOT PREGNANT, MAN WALKED AWAY

A Redditor had shared a story on Reddit’s “AITA” subreddit. A woman stated that his boyfriend ran away, after she said that she was pregnant, and the weird part was, the couple were trying for a child for six years.

The Redditor explained that on her boyfriend’s 30th birthday, she revealed her pregnancy. Woman said that she wasn’t feeling well on the last weeks when they were approaching to her boyfriend’s birthday, so she went to a hospital for a check-up.

There, she learned that she was pregnant, and she thought that it would be a great birthday gift to tell him that she was pregnant.

“We’ve been trying for a baby for six years and I thought this would be the perfect present for him. When I got home, there were a few people already there for the party. I asked my boyfriend if we could speak in private and he ignored me.” OP wrote.

Then she asked again, and her boyfriend said, “if it was so important I could wait five minutes while he talked to his friend. So I just told him. He got extremely mad and started yelling in my face about how I was trying to ruin his day and that today was supposed to be about him and not me.”

Then the boyfriend kicked everyone out of the house, and he also left the house.

“He was so excited to try for a baby but his reaction made no sense. My mom said that while it is a great surprise I probably should have waited as it was his day.” OP wrote.

On her update, the Redditor explained that she talked with her boyfriend a week later, and he admitted that he was cheating on her, and he was trying a way for breaking up.

Then the boyfriend stated that he would give her whatever money the abortion procedure needs, as he explained that he doesn’t want to be a part of the child.

OP refused his offer, as she stated that she wants her child to be born, and that she could care for her child even if she needs to work alone. She then transferred to another state, as she asked from her supervisor, and she is now living in North Carolina.
