Mom Delivers Baby, Forbidden From Holding Him Because Something Was Wrong…

Andrea West met her future husband in her senior year of college.Once Andreas finished school, they rapidly got together and finally went back to his hometown.

After only a few years of dating, they got engaged and told their loved ones that Andrea was expecting their first child. Andrea was overjoyed.

However, after just eleven weeks, the euphoria was rapidly replaced by sadness. Sadly, Andrea had to experience a miscarriage. On the Love What Matters Facebook page, Andrea expressed her feelings as follows:

“I was an absolute wreck. I didn’t know what to do, who to talk to, what was appropriate to discuss, or who could help me. Little did I know that 1 in 4 women suffer the same and people just don’t talk about it. I didn’t know if I could ever deal with being pregnant again.”

With Andrea’s husband by her side at every turn, she eventually started to feel less apprehensive. She happily got pregnant once more. This time, she promised herself, she would take extra care to give her child a healthy start in life.

Many of her favorite foods, such as sushi and various cheeses, were no longer consumed by her. Additionally, she began devouring pregnancy literature like they were going out of style in the hope that this time would be different.

Her time concluded as planned, without incident. When she and her partner were admitted to a delivery room and started having light contractions, she arrived at the hospital on schedule.

Her discharge from the hospital was postponed because an ultrasound showed that there was nearly no amniotic fluid left. There was an immediate need to induce labor.

Thank goodness, the delivery went smoothly. Before the evening was done, Andrea and her husband welcomed their son, Adam.

Unfortunately, Andrea’s partner was never able to sever the customary umbilical chord.

Instead, amid a flurry of action involving medical staff, Adam was taken away from his parents. Andrea’s husband saw their child through the group of physicians’ shoulders. “Honey,” he began, turning to face Andrea, “there’s something wrong with Adam’s leg.”

About twenty people gathered around Adam, the young child. As Andrea waited for a response, her anxiety grew.Andrea was left to lie in the hospital by herself as her mother and boyfriend went outside to inform family members. Nobody has yet provided an explanation for her infant’s condition.

He revealed a marbling pattern of purple and black on his entire right leg as well as the right half of his stomach.

After some time, Adam’s unusual vascular abnormality, CMTC, was discovered to be present. Andrea’s husband and she were at a lost for words. When their kid was born, there had only ever been 500 occurrences of the ailment described. A series of tests were performed on Adam’s key organs, and each result was negative.

Andrea eventually went home to sleep after spending four days in the newborn intensive care unit. After a successful treatment, Adam was given thorough instructions on how to take care of his skin before being sent home. But as time went on, it became apparent that Adam was a real fighter.

He’s a healthy young guy now, and he likes to play chess and solve riddles. Despite the condition making his leg weak, he has been able to participate in sports. Adam has never let his disability hold him back despite being aware of how he differs slightly from the other kids.

She relentlessly works to increase public awareness of these illnesses and is an advocate for individuals who experience them.

If you would like to help individuals who suffer from rare diseases, please think about sharing Adam’s story and making a donation to the charity. Your kindness will have a huge impact on people fighting rare diseases.

Despite having a difficult beginning thanks to Adam, the West family is currently doing well.
