Celine Dion has withdrawn from the spotlight since disclosing her diagnosis. Fans have been receiving information about the singer’s life via her sister, Claudette Dion. There are 14 Dion siblings, and Celine’s sister Claudette has made sure to inform people of her condition.

“She’s doing everything to recover. She’s a strong woman,” Claudette said in an interview, she added that there is little known about the condition, even by the Dion family. Celine’s older sister also mentioned how the family can do little about the “pain” the singer is in.

74-year-old Claudette talked about the symptoms her sister is suffering from, she said, “There are spasms – they’re impossible to control. You know when people often jump up in the night because of a cramp in the leg or the calf? It’s a bit like that, but in all muscles.”

Dion made her diagnosis public in December of the previous year. She announced the cancellation of her tour and her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome in an emotional video that she shared with her followers on social media.

She claimed that the illness was also harming her vocal chords and, as a result, her singing skills. As a result, she had postponed her Courage globe tour until she felt well enough to perform again.

Since that time, the pop star has been strengthening herself with the help of “a great team of doctors” and a sports medicine therapist. Nelson, Eddy, and René-Charles, her three boys, are now residing with her at home. She and her late husband René Angelil, who passed away in January 2016 at the age of 73, raised all three of their sons.

The couple bought a five-acre piece of land in 2008. Two years later, they started from scratch to construct their ideal house on the plot of land. The house has 13 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, and it was inspired by the Bahamas. There were numerous water elements throughout the house, including two pools, slides, and a lazy river.

To relocate to Las Vegas, where she had agreed to take up residency in 2005, the singer, however, sold her ideal home. She believed that by moving, it would be simpler for her family to stay together.

The singer was able to sell her first house, which she built, for $38.5 million four years after it went on the market for a considerable amount of time. Only one year after her devoted husband’s passing, she sold the house.

In April 2023, she reportedly also sold a home in Summerlin, Las Vegas. She sold it for $30 million, and in 2017 she paid $9.2 million for the freshly built mansion.

Before selling it this year, she invested time and money in remodelling the property. It’s unclear if she actually lived there or if she just acquired the house with the intention of selling it for a profit.

The residence overlooks a golf field and occupies 31,000 square feet. It contains a sizable swimming pool and an underground garage. There are four bedrooms and twelve bathrooms on the inside. The property boasts a finished basement and a fully functional spa.

Celine, however, is now a resident of a 1.5-acre house in Las Vegas. Henderson, Nevada, is where the house is situated. She and her husband paid an alleged $1.2 million for it in 2003. After she moved in, she remodelled the house.

Over 8,100 square feet of ground total an acre around the house. It includes three fireplaces, four bedrooms, and six bathrooms.

Celine frequently recorded videos from her kitchen during the pandemic and urged her fans to stay inside. Her kitchen, which had plenty of storage, could be seen on the films.

White cabinets with gloss fronts and stainless steel fixtures appeared to be the trend. Another area in the property had a white motif with draperies, a high-shine white table, and white leather tub chairs. In order to make the room feel cosier, the singer is also said to have installed a number of candles.

The home also contains a detached guest house with a bedroom and bathroom that is 2,000 square feet in size. A basketball court and a large pool are on the home’s grounds. The house is currently valued at $4.5 million.

She still owns a number of homes, including one in Montreal, which is located in her home province of Québec. For the past 20 years, Celine has enjoyed great success as a performer on the Las Vegas Strip at the Colosseum and Caesar’s Palace.

When she started her residency, the singer performed just 3-5 gigs a week for an estimated $500,000 per show, earning her an average of $2 million per month.

A 4,000-seat arena designed by Caesar’s Palace was modelled after the Colosseum in Rome. The singer’s residency, dubbed “A New Day,” was an immediate hit. She gave back-to-back sold-out performances!
