After 46 years of marriage, Donny Osmond offers update on wife who rarely leaves home

After 46 years of marriage, the relationship shared by Donny Osmond and his wife Debbie is far more than “Puppy Love.”

The woman, whom he credits with keeping his “feet on the ground,” was recently captured in sweet images with her superstar husband on a stop in Kansas City on his months-long national tour.

The couple is seen with Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs and his wife Tammy – whom Osmond calls “royalty” – in snapshots after his sold-out show at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Donny Osmond, who found galactic success as a teen heartthrob in the 1970s, is as busy today as he was five decades ago.

In 2019, the 66-year-old man ended an 11-year Las Vegas residency with his sister Marie and returned to the city at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino, headlining his first solo residency, which he resumes in the fall of 2024.

After stepping on the stage for the show where he takes audiences on a “dynamic, energy-filled musical journey of his unparalleled life,” Osmond flies out to the UK for a limited run of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The TV host wowed live theatre audiences with his performance as Joseph in the hit musical that ran from 1992 to 1998.

However, this time the legendary performer is taking on the role of Pharaoh.

“I always knew I would return to ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,’” Osmond said in a statement on X. “Having starred as Joseph in over 2,000 performances in this magical musical, I am now ready to channel my inner Elvis and assume the role of Pharaoh in Edinburgh starting this December.”

But before any of that happens, he’s spending the summer, taking his Vegas show to venues across North America.

And with such a hectic schedule, he says his wife Debbie “keeps my feet on the ground.”

Lifelong ‘Puppy Love’

Though Debbie shies away from the spotlight that follows her husband, she’s often featured in loving social media posts.

In 2020, the “Puppy Love” singer shared a heartfelt Valentine’s Day post, honoring the love of his life.

“I want to publicly express my gratitude for the irreplaceable influence Debbie continues to be in my life,” he writes on Facebook. “She’s not only the love of my life, but she’s also my best friend and greatest confidant. Between raising our five sons, running the show at home, enjoying time with our grandchildren and running a business as well, I really don’t know how she manages to do it all.”

Gushing over Debbie in an interview with People, he explains that she’s the one who keeps him grounded.

“There was something simple about [Debbie], and I lived a very complicated life… Debbie has given my life stability. She keeps my feet on the ground.”

‘Rockin’ in Kansas City’

Before his tour took him to Indiana, Osmond went on Instagram and thanked Kansas City fans, who for his show on June 11th packed the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

In a series of images, the singer shared photos of him on stage, later with Debbie, along with Andy Reid, the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs and his wife Tammy.

He writes, “It was rockin’ in Kansas City last night. What an awesome sold-out crowd at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. We even had royalty there. Andy Reid and his wife, Tammy, joined us. GO CHIEFS! Thank you, Kansas City.”

Fans jumped into the comments section, offering their thoughts on his post.

“Nice, Debbie as always looks beautiful someday I would love to meet her,” pens one fan, while another says, “Debbie you are looking GORGEOUS.”

Other netizens gushed over the opportunity to meet Reid: “OMG Donny!! What??? You are so lucky!! Love the Chiefs and Andy Reid! Donny and Deb y’all have all the fun!!!”

‘Bucket list’

The day before, the couple are seen dining with a group of friends at a barbeque restaurant.

He captions the post: “I’m now in Kansas City and I just ate at my favorite restaurant for barbeque. It’s called Q39. If you haven’t eaten there yet, you’re missing out. Debbie and I had dinner there with our friends…” he continues, “You can tell how much I enjoyed it. I almost ate the bone…”

“I had Mexican food with you in South Texas Donny. You ate chicken mole. You were sooo kind to EVERYONE,” gushes one netizen.

Another adds, “I can hardly wait to meet Debbie. It’s on my bucket list, such a beautiful woman and so much class. Love You all.”

We’re sure we’ll be seeing many more photos of Osmond and his wife over the next several months!
